This project commemorates the Slavery Abolition Act 1833, with a series of touring exhibitions to the Sutton Central Library and Gallery, the Basement at Bunyan Museum Bedford, and Deptford Lounge Lewisham as part of Black History Month 2023.
The exhibition was accompanied by a series of school workshops held at the Sutton Central Library. The first workshop was conducted with 20 secondary school aged participants. The second workshop on October 18 was attended by a group of 60 , Year 6 students from the local primary school.
